Skin & blemishes
Blemish removal.
Clears the spots and marks that have bothered you for years.
Checked first. Always.
The honest bit
What it is, and
who it's for.
Straight talk before we treat a single spot. If a mark needs a doctor's eye first, we'll tell you - and send you the right way.
An advanced cosmetic procedure that uses a fine probe to deliver tiny, controlled pulses of heat to a blemish, gently cauterising it away. It's precise and targeted - no cutting, no stitches.
It treats common benign marks like skin tags, milia, blood spots (cherry angiomas), thread veins and similar lesions. We always assess the blemish first to make sure it's safe to treat.
- A skin tag, milium, blood spot or thread vein has bothered you for a while
- The mark has been confirmed as benign, or you're happy for us to assess it
- You want it gone without surgery or a long recovery
- You're fine with a small scab that heals over a week or two
- The mark is changing, growing, bleeding or itchy - please see your GP first
- You're pregnant - we'll usually wait until after
- You have a pacemaker or certain medical conditions - we'll check
- There's an active skin infection or broken skin in the area
Your visit
Precise, and
surprisingly quick.
Most visits run 15 to 45 minutes depending on how many blemishes you'd like treated. The treatment itself is just seconds per spot.
-
We check it's safe first
Your practitioner looks closely at each blemish, confirms it's suitable for treatment, and refers you to a doctor if anything needs a medical opinion. Nothing gets treated until we're sure.
-
The treatment
A very fine probe delivers a quick pulse of heat to each blemish. Most people feel a short, hot scratch or sting that's over in seconds - numbing is rarely needed.
-
How it feels after
The treated spots may look red or slightly raised, and a tiny scab or crust often forms within a few hours. Some blood spots simply disappear on the spot.
-
Downtime? Minimal
Straight back to your day. Just keep the area clean and dry, resist picking, and let any small scabs heal and fall off on their own over the following days.
Results
What to expect,
when.
Blemish removal heals in stages - here's roughly how the days after your visit tend to unfold.
-
Right after
The treated area may look red, slightly swollen or raised. Some blood spots vanish immediately; other blemishes start to darken or crust.
-
First few days
A small scab or crust forms and protects the healing skin underneath. Leave it well alone - no picking, no scratching.
-
1-2 weeks
The scab lifts and falls off on its own, revealing fresh pink skin. Most blemishes are gone in a single session.
-
Longer term
The pinkness settles over the following weeks. Larger or stubborn lesions can need one quick top-up visit to finish the job.
Healing and results vary from person to person - your likely outcome and whether a second visit is needed will be assessed honestly at your consultation.

Aftercare
Let it heal well.
Simple rules, big difference. We'll give you the full rundown on the day - here's the short version.
Do
- ✓ Keep the treated area clean and dry
- ✓ Let any scabs form and fall off on their own
- ✓ Apply any soothing aftercare balm we recommend
- ✓ Wear SPF 30+ on the area once healed to help avoid marking
Avoid
- × Picking, scratching or knocking off scabs - it's the main scarring risk
- × Makeup directly over the treated area until it's fully healed
- × Hot baths, saunas, steam and sweaty workouts for 24-48 hours
- × Swimming, active skincare and scrubs on the area for a few days
Questions
Asked all
the time.
Will it leave a scar?
The technique is precise and designed to minimise marking. A small scab forms and usually heals leaving little to no trace, but no honest clinic can promise zero risk of a mark. Picking the scab is by far the biggest scarring risk - so leave it be. If your skin tends to scar or pigment easily, we'll talk it through carefully at your consultation.
Does it hurt?
Most people describe a short, hot scratch or sting for each blemish, over in a second or two. It's very manageable and numbing is rarely needed. More sensitive areas feel it a little more, and we work at a pace that suits you.
Will one session be enough?
Many blemishes clear in a single visit. Larger, deeper or more stubborn lesions - and some thread veins or warts - can need a second appointment once the first area has fully healed. We'll be honest about what to expect for your particular blemishes at your consultation.
