A relaxing luxury facial at Wilbury Clinic

Tailored to your skin. Always.

The honest bit

What it is, and
who it's for.

Straight talk before you settle back. A facial is skin health and deep relaxation - not a miracle cure. Here's exactly what to expect.

What it is

An hour of considered, hands-on skincare - a double cleanse, gentle exfoliation, a tailored mask, massage and nourishing serums, all chosen for your skin on the day.

It starts with a proper skin consultation, so every step is built around what your skin actually needs.

Good for you if
  • You want a real reset for dull, tired or dehydrated skin
  • You love the idea of an hour that's genuinely for you
  • You'd like expert hands and advice on a home routine
  • You enjoy keeping skin at its best with regular treatments
Not for you if
  • You have active, inflamed acne or a flaring skin condition - let's calm it first
  • You've had recent injectables, peels or laser - we'll advise on timing
  • You're after a dramatic, overnight transformation
  • You have sunburn or broken skin on the face right now

Your visit

An hour
that's all yours.

This one isn't meant to be rushed. Around 60 minutes to switch off completely while your skin gets the full treatment.

A therapist preparing a luxury facial at Wilbury Clinic
  1. We read your skin

Your therapist looks closely at your skin, asks about your routine and any concerns, and chooses the products and steps to suit you that day.

  2. Cleanse & exfoliate

A thorough double cleanse, then a gentle exfoliation to lift away dull, tired surface cells and prep skin to drink in everything that follows.

  3. Mask, massage & serums

The relaxing heart of it - a tailored mask, a proper facial massage and layered serums. Most people drift somewhere close to sleep here.

  4. Finish & protect

Moisturiser and SPF to seal it all in, plus honest advice on how to keep the glow going at home. No downtime - just walk out radiant.

Results

What to expect,
when.

A single facial gives an instant glow. Lasting, healthier-looking skin comes from a little consistency over time.

  1. Straight after

Skin looks fresh, plump and radiant. A little warmth or flush is normal and settles within an hour or so.

  2. The next day

Skin feels soft, hydrated and calm, and makeup tends to sit beautifully. Any tiny purging from exfoliation soon settles.

  3. Over the following week

That glow lingers, and skin feels its best. This is the ideal time to keep up the simple home routine we suggest.

  4. With regular facials

Most people book roughly every 4-6 weeks to keep skin looking its best - a treat and a habit rolled into one.

Results vary from person to person - your skin, your concerns and the right rhythm of treatments will be talked through honestly at your consultation.

Aftercare

Keep the glow going.

Simple rules, big difference. We'll give you the full rundown on the day - here's the short version.

Do

  • Drink plenty of water and keep skin hydrated
  • Wear SPF 30+ daily - freshly exfoliated skin loves protection
  • Keep cleansing gentle for a day or two
  • Follow the simple home routine your therapist suggests

Avoid

  • × Heavy makeup for the rest of the day if you can - let skin breathe
  • × Retinol, acids and other strong actives for 24-48 hours
  • × Saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and hard workouts for the rest of the day
  • × Scrubs and exfoliation for a few days - your skin's already had its treat

Questions

Asked all
the time.

How often should I have a facial?

For most people, roughly every 4-6 weeks keeps skin looking its best - that's in step with your natural skin cycle. A one-off facial is a lovely reset and gives an instant glow, but consistency is where the longer-term benefits really show. We'll suggest an honest rhythm for your skin and never push more than you need.

Is there any downtime?

Practically none. Skin may look a little flushed or feel warm straight after, and that usually settles within an hour. Occasionally exfoliation can bring a spot or two to the surface over the next day - normal and short-lived. You can head straight back to your day, ideally with SPF on and makeup kept light if you can.

Can I have a facial before an event?

Yes - and it's a lovely way to prep. That said, we'd suggest booking it a few days before rather than the night before, so skin has time to settle and any slight flush or purging has passed. If it's your first facial with us, a little extra lead time is always the safer bet for a big day.

Ready when you are
